Our Team

Dr. Taylor Nicks is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized eye care for patients of all ages. Originally from Kentucky, she earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

Following optometry school, Dr. Nicks completed a primary care / ocular disease residency at Ochsner Medical Center. She remained on staff at Ochsner for eight years, caring for patients and refining her clinical skills before pursuing her dream of private practice.

Today, Dr. Nicks is proud to serve the Westbank and Greater New Orleans area at Eyecare Center Westbank. She provides comprehensive eye exams and has a special interest in ocular surface disease, commonly known as dry eye. She is passionate about helping patients achieve lasting comfort and better vision through individualized dry eye treatment plans.

Outside the office, Dr. Nicks enjoys traveling, local coffee shops, and spending quality time with her husband and their toddler, Henry.

Having been in practice for many years on the Westbank, Dr. Vincent specializes in refractions, treatment and care of eye infections and disease, and co-manages laser and surgery patients. Contact lens fitting, from basic contacts to change your eye color, to difficult fits, including bifocal and monocular. We offer a full service dispensary, with an in office lab. Our staff consists of board certified Ophthalmic Dispensers to assist with your frames and lenses. We welcome outside prescriptions.

Dr. Thompson offers computer assisted eye exams, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease and injury, complete contact lens services including all specialty lens products, laser and cataract surgeries, and frame styling to compliment your lifestyle.
